The beginning of the 19^th century saw a lot of changes in American history. Significant aspects of American history were shaped during this time. The early 1800s to the early 1900s played a crucial role in ensuring that the American people shaped and get most of the economic gains that they wanted from other regions and countries of the world. Arguably, conquest was used as a major form of dominance, especially for new territories. During this time, a lot of lives were lost, and many people were exploited in what would change the course of history forever. Some people did not accept most of the conquests and ideologies in society, and they decided to separate while acting in the form of revolution. Early American People and Ideas

The pilgrims were some of the first American settler groups. The church was believed to be corrupt and could not reform, especially by most protestants. Most people thought that it would be appropriate to move from the church and create a new sect(May). They would later be labelled as the ‘separatists.’ Most of them left their homeland and moved to Holland, where they hoped they could get more freedom of worship. Pilgrims and puritans both believed in the church of England even though they wanted to see some kind of reforms from the church. However, the Puritans who came to America ten years later then the pilgrims did not break from the church of England but decided to reform it. The puritans did not cause much of a revolution as they only decided to go with the rules that were already in place. They though the rest of humanity was inferior and were doomed for eternity. Another group that came about during this time of history was The Pueblos. They were the indigenous people who had a mix of spirit-filled religions and the Spanish friars(PBS). Their practices, belief, and religious rituals were deeply embedded in their tradition and way of life. In the 15^th century, they met Franciscan friars, but the conversion and mission building did not begin until after 1930. Most of the pueblos converted and left their old religion. Great Awakening

The Great Awakening instigated the American Revolution War. It was in the 1800s in which individual rights and nationalism were encouraged. Also, it made a major impact on Christianity which most people believed to be doctored to align movements and the masses follow some doctrine. The Great Awakening happened in various phases in which each provided different results which could be felt across the continent(Jenkins). However, not all people embraced the aspect of Great Awakening as some people sort for a more traditional style of religion what a person wanted to believe in. Other people believed in witchcraft during this time as much as there was no liberty to freely chose on religion. A lot of people had to endure troubles and issues while undergoing the Great Awakening. Furthermore, a lot of lives were lost, and people faced injustice from what was deemed to be the greatest revolution in American history. Still, these movements and awakening are appreciated as more and more people become independent of oppression and begun to realize that many ways could be used to reduce the systemic oppression that they have always been put through. The American people became more enlightened of issues and stopped following religion and faith blindly without questioning most of the things. Even though the milestones have been made, it was still difficult for most people in America to deal with their problems and communal issues without backlash. The revolution that happened in the Christianity aspect of American history spread for more than two centuries. During this time, many people lost their lives as other were accused due to their various religious affiliations and belief. The Salem, for instance, was the epitome of non-inclusivity as they were seen as outcasts. The different factions of religions and Christianity that came about thought they were all superior than the remaining others. Regardless, it is due to their struggle and conflicts that allowed for diversity in society to be a norm.
